Today we have a 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer Class III two inch hitch receiver. Adding the two inch hitch receiver to the back of your Crosstrek is gonna give you a lot of different options for accessories. You're gonna be able to put two inch bike racks in there, cargo carriers, ball mounts if you wanna pull a small trailer. If you plan on pulling a trailer, I'd highly recommend installing your four-pole wiring while you're doing your hitch, just so that you only have to tear into your vehicle one time. This hitch is gonna have a triple carbide black powder coat finish, which we have seen to prove that it's a very, very tough paint job. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you're gonna see a good majority of the hitch hanging down below the rear fascia, but overall, it's tucked back far enough, and it's got a nice matte black powder coat finish, so it looks pretty stealthy under there, and it doesn't really detract away from the looks of the van. Now this one is a two-inch by two-inch receiver tube opening, which is a great option for a ton of different accessories, whether it be ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers. You will have a huge selection. Now all of those will stay in place with a five-eighths pin and clip. This is not included with the hitch. more

Today, we have a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox, and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class II 1-1/4 Hitch Receiver. Being that this is an 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 Hitch Receiver tube opening, that is going to be the size of the opening itself. It is not going to be the most common size out there on the market. A 2-inch hitch receiver's gonna be the most common size if you're looking for the most variety of accessories, but there's a couple of circumstances in which this 1-1/4 is gonna be just fine for you. The first one is gonna be like a lot of my friends, they switch from vehicle to vehicle, but all their accessories are 1-1/4 because the vehicle that they had before it, there was only an 1-1/4 hitch available for it. more

First off, a lot of people like to use, especially a hitch this heavy rated, they like to use their hitch to pull small trailers. And if you plan on doing that, I highly recommend installing a wiring harness on the back of your Jeep so that you can safely get those lights powered on your trailer. Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install, the CURT Class 2 inch and a quarter Hitch Receiver. Adding the hitch receiver to the back of your Equinox is gonna allow you to haul different accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts, if you wanna pull a small trailer. I will say if you're planning on pulling a trailer, you will want to install a wiring kit too so that you can get your trailer lighting functions from your vehicle. One of the biggest reasons why people like to go with an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter hitch receiver tube is because they already have accessories from an older vehicle that they had that had an inch and a quarter hitch receiver. Me personally, I would go with one of the two inch hitch receiver tube options for the Equinox because it has a pretty impressive tow rating and if you ever want to pull a trailer, you can do that with it. more

Now, if you wanna get a locking pin and clip, that's a great option if you plan on leaving your accessories on your vehicle because when locked in place, no one's gonna be able to just walk by and take the accessories. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Ford Ranger and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer Class III 2" Hitch Receiver. Adding a 2" hitch receiver to the back of your Ford Ranger's gonna allow you to do a couple different things. First up being you can pick up a ball mount, put it in here and pull small trailers with it. But if you're gonna do that, you may already have the four pole factory prep package under here that'll allow you to pull trailers without brakes. If you decide to pull a trailer with brakes, you'll want to add a seven pole on there. more

It's a really nice design because it's a hidden cross tube, which means the only thing that you're gonna see visible when installed is gonna be your 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening while the rest of it hides behind the fascia, giving you a nice clean look. This size is gonna allow you to get a ton of different options when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts, and any of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now it does not come with the hitch. A lot of times when you pick up your accessories they'll have a pin and clip included, but if you want to keep your accessories loaded on your vehicle and not have to worry about people walking away with your accessories, you can pick up a locking version of these pin and clips here at etrailer, which is a little bit more peace of mind. We have a rolled style safety chain loop here, which is gonna be great if you plan on towing a trailer to be able to hook up your safety chains, whether it be a standard S hook or even a larger clevis style goes on here with no problem. more

So adding a cargo carrier on the back or making yourself some more room for your bikes on a bike rack is definitely gonna be a plus.
